2025 GIRLS CHAMPION CROWNED
Congratulations to Neve Jeffery, our Junior Captain and now our 2025 Junior Champion.
With a gross 73 (+2) Neve (Knowle GC) was the well deserved winner of the County Girls Championship and will now represent Gloucestershire at England Golf Girls Champion of Champions which takes place in September at Woodhall Spa.
Millie Gait (Knowle GC) was the runner up.
Jasmine Ren (Cotswold Hills GC) is our U16 and U14 Gross Champion.
Our Nett Champion who is also the U16 and U14 nett winner was Martha Benton of Knowle GC.
Freya Herbert from Ross-on-Wye GC was the winner of the Little Spots Salver for the best stableford points.
Congratulations to all competitors and thanks go to Shirehampton Park Golf Club for hosting the Championship, to the members for giving up their course for the day and to the greenkeepers, the hospitality staff and to Eddie Kear, the Club Secretary who all contributed to a fantastic event. Thank you also to Pat Righton, our Vice President and the team of referees and last but not least the parents who supported their junior golfers in participating in the Championship and during the season.
