County Training Squad 2026

We are delighted to present our GLCGA Squad for 2026.

This year we have a squad of 18 players representing 6 clubs from our County with 2 of them new to the squad for this year.

Invitations to join the Training Squad are at the discretion of the current County Captain. Training sessions and practice matches take place during the winter and spring each year and the team to represent Gloucestershire in the South West Inter-Counties Championship (SWICC) is selected by the end of May.

SWICC is our 'major' and the venue changes each year, with each of the six counties of the SW taking their turn to host.

Dorset will be hosting this year's SWICC 2026 at Yeovil Golf Club, from Monday 6 to Wednesday 8 July 2026 (Practice round on Sunday 5 July).
