COUNTY FINALS - Watson Williams and County Foursomes

The final matches of GLCGA's two county foursomes knockout competitions  were played on a mizzly Sunday (6th October) at the beautiful Ross-on-Wye GC.
Preferred lies and  not much run on the ball were the order of the day.

The two matches were closely contested, enjoyed from the sidelines by several supporters and watched over by one lovely referee (thank you Carol!)  

Results:

Watson Williams Scratch Foursomes KO -   Cotswold Hills (Claudia Ovens and Kate Thurlow)  beat  Minchinhampton  (Mary Mayes and Wendy Bond) 2/1

County Foursomes KO (off handicap) -  Naunton Downs (Sue Wood and Susie Green)  beat Shirehampton Park (Celia Watkinson and Nao Kato)
