With Storm Amy due to hit land today everyone was wondering what weather  conditions were going to appear today!

We all enjoyed our bacon baps but then we had to face the rain and wind.

We were playing the Orange and Red courses.  Unfortunately, the greens on the orange course had been treated and sanded but they rolled well and the rest of the course was in great condition.  The red course greens hadn’t been treated and roll very well.  The rain didn’t abate, but the wind dropped a little.

The foursomes played first with Jane and Jo leading the field.   Jo having stepped in at the last moment due to the injury to Olwen.  Everyone reported close matches with birdies needed to win a lot of holes.  All matches were played in a great spirit despite the fact we were all getting soaked.

Once everyone was in the clubhouse and drip drying we were treated to a lovely Shepherd’s pie tea.
